The BCC Group was started in 1996 as BCC Computers in Geelong and has grown to multiple retail outlets in Geelong and Melbourne and an online store. Today the BCC Group includes retail, IT services, import and export, investments and property development. BCC Group founder and CEO Matthew Sun is the developer behind The Mercer. Matthew is an entrepreneur, He is also a participant, contributor and leader in the Geelong community, most notably as an advocate for diversity, major sponsor of Pako Festa and an investment advisor to the City of Greater Geelong's Enterprise Geelong. It has been a passion of Matthew's to help in the revival of Geelong for many years and The Mercer is his contribution to the new Geelong vision. As a member of the Geelong Chamber of Commerce, Geelong Business Club and former president of the Chinese association of Geelong, treasurer of Diversitat, Matthew and his family have been active members of the Geelong social and business scene since they arrived in Australia 30 years ago.
